Jessica states:

"Ultimately, my art serves as a visual ode to the captivating allure of Southern Louisiana, in this case, my hometown of Bogalusa. I strive to use my art as a love letter to the sights, sounds, and sensations that make this place extraordinary.  The goal is to create an invitation for the viewer to join me on this creative journey where each stroke of the brush carries a piece of our Southern soul.

With this work, I wanted to continue on the path of Southern allure and highlight features of our small community.  My work often pays homage to the traditions and folklore that shape this region.  The stories of Creole heritage, Cajun traditions, and the enduring resilience of the people are woven into my paintings. With each stroke of paint, I aim to not only depict visual beauty but also to celebrate the intangible heritage that breathes life into the City of Bogalusa."

The poster will be available at the Festival merchandise booth.
